How to create one
Choose create an account and give your name, mobile number, email address and a password. If you have already ordered, the link in your order confirmation email creates it in one step, and every order placed with that email address appears in it automatically.

Do I need an account to buy a private plate?
No. Anyone can buy, ask a question or request a valuation without one. An account gathers everything you have done with us into one place and fills in your details next time.
Is a Private Plates account free?
Yes. Creating and keeping an account costs nothing.
I have already bought as a guest. Can I see that order in an account?
Yes. Open an account with the same email address and every order placed with it appears there automatically. Your order confirmation email also carries a link that creates the account in one step.
Can I see and control the information you hold about me?
Yes. Your account shows what it holds, you can send yourself your search history, clear it, remove vehicles and stop alerts, and you can ask us for a copy of everything or for it to be deleted. Clearing your history removes it from your account; the privacy notice explains what we keep and for how long.
Do I need an account to save or compare private plates?
No. Your shortlist and comparison are kept in your browser, so you can use them without signing in.
