Buy number plates
Road-legal number plates, made to BS AU 145e by a DVLA-registered number plate supplier, for a registration mark you already hold. A front and rear pair for a car or van, or a single rear number plate for a motorcycle, made to order and delivered to your door.

Sizes & shapes
Standard sizes for most cars and vans, oversized number plates for a deeper or wider recess, import sizes for Japanese and American vehicles, hex profiles, and ten vehicle-shaped profiles for particular Jaguar, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Range Rover and Daihatsu models. Every one is drawn to scale in the designer, so you can see the shape before you choose it.

Character styles & materials
Every character style is a single solid black to BS AU 145e. Choose flat printed characters, 3D gel, 4D or 5D cut acrylic, retro bevelled, or extra-thick 5mm raised characters. Number plates are made in acrylic as standard, or in MetaTek aluminium, HilTek for a curved mount, or pressed aluminium for black and silver heritage number plates.

Badges & the green flash
A badge on the left of the number plate is optional: UK, England, Scotland, Wales, the UK travel badge with the Union flag for driving abroad, or the green flash for a zero-emission vehicle. On raised characters you can also have a gel side badge in place of the printed one.

Fixings & surrounds
Sticky pads, screws with coloured caps or nuts and bolts, with black, white or yellow caps to match the number plate. A black border and a black surround are optional too.

The document check
Before we can manufacture number plates for a registration mark we have not supplied, the law requires us to see proof that you are entitled to that mark and proof of your name and address. A clear photograph or photocopy of each document is all we need; please do not send originals. Your number plates cannot be manufactured until both checks are complete.
We ask for the documents after your order, not before, and a clear photograph or photocopy is all we need. Your number plates are made as soon as the check is complete, and they can be delivered to a different address once it is.
Black & silver heritage number plates
A black number plate with silver characters is only lawful on a vehicle first registered 40 or more years ago. The designer asks for the year the vehicle was first registered and offers black and silver only where it qualifies, at £15.00 on top of the pair. A heritage number plate carries no badge, no border and no raised finish, and can be made in pressed aluminium with the characters pressed into the metal.
Postage & delivery
Number plates are always sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, tracked and signed for on arrival, and the postage is included in their price. Any paperwork you have bought goes inside the same packaging. Delivery says when your number plates arrive and how they are packed.
A registration mark bought without number plates is posted as follows. Royal Mail Second Class is free. Royal Mail Signed For is £10.95 including VAT, with signed for on arrival, with proof of delivery. Royal Mail Special Delivery is £16.95 including VAT, with guaranteed by 1pm the next working day, tracked and signed for. You choose at the checkout.

Show plates
We make road-legal number plates only and do not make show plates. A show plate cannot be used on a public road, and fitting one risks a fine, an MOT failure and the registration mark being withdrawn. If you want a legal number plate for a show car, we will make it.
