AY private plates

Age-hiding private plates. These private plates contain your initials AY within a three-letter group, followed by a number, such as AYZ 232. We favour combinations where the extra letter interferes as little as possible with your initials, particularly a narrow I. They also carry no year, so they can be used on a vehicle of any age.

Prefix private plates. The private plates below start with a single letter followed by a number from 1 to 999 and three letters, like F3 AAY. The first letter decides the oldest vehicle it can go on. Add your vehicle’s current registration mark above to remove registrations you cannot use.

These are selected because AY appears at both ends of the registration mark, creating a balanced or mirrored appearance. We also look for characters in the middle that can be read visually as numbers or letters, producing combinations such as AY75 BAY.

These are prefix-style private plates where your initials AY appear prominently at the end. We prioritise combinations where the preceding characters complement rather than obscure them, such as A12 OAY.

These are particularly strong matches because the registration mark can suggest your initials more than once. For AY, that could mean A at the beginning and YAY at the end, such as A24 YAY.
